Phoenix, AZ

Tears & Tulle Tales hit the streets in Phoenix, Arizona, over the weekend to ask people their Even When Especially Then moments of the day.

THIS IS WHAT THEY SAID:

I am devoted even when what I'm manifesting doesn't show up right away.

I am courageous even when it's my first time.

I am optimistic even when I'm stuck.

I am powerful even when I'm anxious.

I am strong even when I'm feeling exhausted.

I am content even when I'm upset.

I am courageous even when I'm in pain.

I am funny even when I'm not.

I am creative even when I'm unmotivated.

I am extraordinary even when I'm exhausted.

I am passionate even when depleted.

I am spunky even when I don’t feel enough.

I am spunky even when I don't do my hair.

I am fearless even when I'm afraid.

I am strong even when life gets me down.

I am confident even when I'm self-conscious.

I am creative even when I feel uninspired.

I am courageous even when defeated.

I am fierce even when I'm lonely.

Especially Then.

OUR EXPERIENCE:

We chatted it up with our super charismatic new friends as they encouraged us to dip our toes in the pool. Their energy was contagious.

We learned a bit about some fun lovebirds who were on a layover. Costa Rica would come soon but not before they would enjoy a snooze in their traveling hammock.

We met a couple of sweet runway-ready fashionistas who took a moment of their day to play, learn, and grow with us.

We experienced kindness and laughter from a couple with lost keys, loving hearts, and hope.

We felt encouraged by the beautiful energy of a friendly passerby who spoke about the importance of our work.

We absorbed the wisdom, fun vibes, and encouragement from a group of empowering new friends.

We paused to rest with a friendly mermaid who was on her way to breakfast and taking a mindful moment to herself.

We were inspired by a gorgeous spirit who taught us a lesson about wearing clothing that brings out our playful and empowered sense of self. Beautiful and colorful pieces that accentuate the spirit. She smiled at us and said something along the lines of “if you wear it enough, you believe it to be true.”

We relaxed into a great conversation with a former gold mine guide who makes friends wherever she goes. Her inner sparkle shone brightly as she shared her excitement for her current career path.

We scooped up a meal on the go and were met with a rainbow of color and kindness. We saw the beauty in taking a moment to feel calm within the chaos.

We struck up a conversation between floors with an unexpected backpacker whose kindness helped set the stage for the rest of our day.

💌 A thank you to Sam Marino for designing the Even When Especially Then cards!
