🎤IN NATALIE’S WORDS...
In doing this project, I realized I am as uncomfortable in rainbow tulle as I am talking about tears. That being said, Tulle and Tears is a perfect encapsulation of being a mother. It’s rainbows and happiness as often as it is tantrums and fits.
As someone who did not have a great mother, my purpose in life is to show my daughters and son all the love and attention I can. I understand how impactful all these childhood moments are: attending a class party, having a play date, a note in a lunchbox - even being part of a photo shoot. It all matters.
Having a high-pressure corporate career while also owning a small business with my husband means I have to make trade offs but I hope my children never feel like they weren’t always the priority. They are the reason I work as hard as I do, and they are the reason I celebrate each day.
