🎤IN ANNIE’S WORDS... ⁣

Imposter syndrome: a psychological pattern in which an individual doubts their accomplishments or talents, and has a persistent internalized fear of being exposed as a fraud. Leave imposter syndrome behind, because you are so much more than you think you are.⁣ ⁣ #tearsandtulle

About Annie…

Hello! I’m Annie. I am a career bartender, turned esthetician in training. I’ve wanted to get into esthetics for a long time but have put it off for various reasons. This pandemic forced me to give up a career that wasn’t suiting me, and jump into my passion feet first.

I always had clear skin, but once I reached my mid 20’s I started struggling with hormonal acne. While I was trying to figure out how to heal my skin, I became deeply passionate about skincare. I’ve collected several esthetician role models over the years (you know who you are ☺️). Meeting them helped me see that I am in a position to be able to help people who have struggled with the same things as me. I live to serve others and make them feel good about themselves, and I can’t wait to be licensed and in the field so that I can help people see how beautiful they are, regardless of the condition of their skin.

My best friend is an 18 pound, 8-year-old black cat that I found on a river while kayaking. In my spare time, you’ll likely find me outside, or playing with one of my jewelry making mediums. I feel most connected to myself when I’m in nature, whether it be hiking, kayaking, foraging or catching frogs. One of my most recent hobbies that I’ve collected is riding dirt bikes and motorcycles. I’m always trying to do things that scare me, because that’s how I feel I learn the most about myself and the world around me.
