🎤IN LISA’S WORDS....
Life, around the time I had these photos taken, was crazy. I was overbooked with commitments and overwhelmed. I was tired, stressed and would have probably preferred a nap to time spent putting on makeup and curling my hair.
My husband is a professional photographer, so of course I had him take my photos for this project. He had just been out of town the past several days, and we’d barely seen each other. In fact, doing this photo shoot was most time we’d spent together in a WHILE.
We got to the mural I picked out as a background (an awesome one by local artist @marenconrad) and got to it. While we were out taking photos, we met a couple of mural-hunting strangers who saw my crazy rainbow skirt and walked up to us blowing bubbles and doing anything they could to help us make an awesome image.
My favorite photo of the day is actually the one with their bubbles! In return we helped them take the fall photos of their dreams by throwing a ton of fallen leaves in the air, posing them, and just having fun together.
What started as a task on my to-do list turned into a great memory and fun times spent with my husband. Amidst the craziness, it’s important to be with the one you love, be silly, and have a little fun.
