“I’ve heard it said that where there is deep grief, there was great love - when we experience sadness it’s simply carving out more space and more capacity for you to love.”

🎤IN KAYLYNN’S WORDS...

I’ve often thought about rainbows - they can only happen after rain. đŸŒ§đŸŒˆ

That thought is absolutely fascinating to me: how can something so beautiful come after something hard?

After our son, Ian, was stillborn at 21 weeks we experienced the most profound grief. It was numbing and intense. It felt like I was in a fog and I couldn’t see or think straight.

One year and one week after we lost Ian, our rainbow baby was born. All the grief and sadness was still there, but there was also more room for us to love as we welcomed this sweet new girl into the world.
